08 / REVIEW ORDER

Where review
starts.

Nobody can read 31,101 verses at once. This is the order in which people should review Nichijoyaku edition 1, starting with the chapters where a surviving mistake would do the most harm.

Nichijoyaku was created using AI. A complete review by human biblical-language and biblical-studies specialists has not been established. Read alongside established translations and original-language resources.

How the order is decided

Two questions decide it. How much harm would a mistake here do: could it mislead someone about who Jesus is, how a person is saved, or how to live? And how soon and how often do readers meet this passage?

Every chapter sits in exactly one of five groups. Within a group, chapters follow Bible order. Where the boundaries fall is a judgement call, and it is open to discussion.

About review status

This page shows the order only. It does not yet record which chapters a person has finished reviewing. AI checks are never presented here as human review.

01

Read first: the heart of the gospel

The chapters a first-time reader is most likely to be pointed to, such as John 3, Romans 1–8, Isaiah 53 and the Sermon on the Mount. A wrong word here could misstate who Jesus is or how a person is saved.

02

The Gospels, Acts and the doctrinal letters

The rest of the four Gospels and Acts, with Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Hebrews and 1 John. They are read often, quoted in sermons and used to settle questions of belief.

03

Daily reading and how to live

Psalms, Proverbs, the other New Testament letters, Revelation and key Old Testament chapters such as the Ten Commandments and Isaiah 40–55. People turn to them for comfort, prayer and guidance, so a mistake reaches readers quickly, including readers who are struggling.

04

Old Testament stories, wisdom and prophets

Every chapter not placed in another group. A mistake here can still mislead, but rarely about how a person is saved, and most readers reach these chapters later.

Last: lists and detailed instructions

Family trees, census and boundary lists, sacrifice procedures and building measurements. Errors here are real but seldom mislead anyone about God, and names and numbers are better checked with tools, so people read these last.
